I recently bought Anthrax' Spreading the disease at BSMusic via the Amazon.de marketplace. The copy I got seems to be a first press because the catalogue number on my copy's cover only matches the original 1985 USA release. Also, the IFPI indicates that it was produced in the USA.
However, the product description at Amazon.de said the CD is from 1995 and the CD is missing the "MADE IN USA" writing in the inner ring, which should be there regarding to the information page of the record (http://www.musik-sammler.de/media/221980).
What to do now?

If there is an IFPI Code on the CD, it can't be the first pressing. The IFPI Code was invented in 1994, so your version is an older one. I'd say your version is a repress of the 1st press. The UPC Code is also the same?

The EAN / UPC is exactly the same, 042282666826; the catalogue number is also the same, 422-826 668-2. The only database entry matching these to numbers is the first press one. Maybe my copy is undocumented in the Musik-Sammler database.

Maybe my copy is undocumented in the Musik-Sammler database.
This is obviously the case - so you can create a new listing for your version.
Please don't forget to mark the re-release checkbox and to put a 0 (for 'unknown') into the "Jahr Tonträger-Veröffentlichung" field.

Done. Also made one for "Among The Living" because my version seems to be a re-release pressed in the USA which is not listed either.
